Student Leadership

Our Student Leadership extends school-wide with a wide range of positions for students to engage with. These include School and Sport Captains, TRIBE leaders, Technology, Art and Environmental Captains. We provide authentic opportunities for our students to expand their skills and engage with a wide range of experiences to enhance their leadership capabilities.

School Captains play a significant role within our school. They model expected behaviours, support school-wide change and lead our school assemblies and special events.

Student voice and agency is important at Darrang with student input sought for school-wide enhancements, programs, clubs and fundraising opportunities. We value the opinions and input of our student body and encourage them to engage in school-wide projects including the design of our library, playgrounds and elements of the new building works.

Junior School Council take on an active role in the school identifying ways to raise funds and awareness for a variety of charity organisation. They also engage with classrooms to develop our school-wide 'SPIRIT days' that provide opportunties for our students to have some fun and engage with the school.
