Providing a range of 21st century learning opportunities is easy when you can accommodate 1:1 devices school-wide. Classroom educators use large interactive TV screens to model and display digital content to students each session.
The 1:1 devices are used to consolidate core learning and engage in collaborative tasks. Students develop digital skills throughout the school and utilise a range of additional supports including headphones, microphones and speech-to-text functionality.

Students engage with digital learning-based programs including Reading Eggs, Mathletics/Math Seeds, Writing Legends and Essential Assessment.
Lunch-time clubs provide opportunities to further explore the use of our digital capabilities. From movie making club, Minecraft collaboration and building/coding there are ample opportunities to get further involved. Our Chaplain supports in the creation of school-based movies where the content is created, edited and published trhougbh student engagement.
Currently we are trialling a speaking and listening opportunity where senior students are becoming digial ambassadors and creating 'how to' lessons in Minecraft. Students record and provide dialogue to their actions whilst building the capacity of our younger students in a gaming platform.
